"Fires Within And Without" is an orchestral instrumental about a 1930s male supervillain who has a role in Unto Dust: A Mindfire Prequel. He's not a mustache-twirling bad guy with grand ambitions. However, with flame powers, he's plenty deadly. I made the music in Suno A.I.

The time rift in Unto Dust: A Mindfire Prequel is almost a character itself as it plays a huge role in the story, shifting the main characters Steve Hamilton (The Crusader) and Sue Sanchez (The Cat) from 1992 to 1935. I felt it needed an orchestral instrumental to reflect its part in the story. Music made with Suno A.I.

I used to be a big fan of the Alan Parsons Project (I still am to a degree), so in 1992, I wrote an instrumental homage to them called "The Long Journey." I used keyboards, a drum machine, and a four-track recorder to make it (YouTube link to the original recording will be in the comments). I recently uploaded that recording to Suno A.I. and decided to try using orchestral instruments with it. And it turned out wow!

In my 2019 novel Mindfire, the main character, Leia Hamilton, is in love with Josh Manning. Their relationship grows and is tested throughout the book. This orchestral piece (made via Suno A.I.) is meant to embody their love.
