This might be the happiest-sounding song I’ve ever written. It’s about the love story between Steve Hamilton (Crusader) and Sue Sanchez (The Cat) while they are back in mid-1930s North Texas (they're from early 1990s California) in Unto Dust: A Mindfire Prequel. I wrote the lyrics. The music is my homage to 1930s pop/jazz musicals. All it needs is a tap-dancing sequence - lol! Music/vocals made with Suno A.I.

"The Shade" is a 1930s female superhero in Unto Dust: A Mindfire Prequel. As my lyrics in this song show, she thought she was the only super-powered being around and used her telepathy sparingly to not draw undue attention to herself. She's kind of an anti-hero, not going by a strict set of rules, just a general morality. It made her an interesting character to write, especially once she meets Steve and Sue (who do follow superhero rules established by the early 1990s). I made this in 1930s Jazz style with female lead vocals from that time period.

This song from Unto Dust: A Mindfire Prequel is made in 1930s pop style. I wrote the lyrics to "The Next Step" to focus on the main superhero characters(Steve - Crusader and Sue - The Cat)'s dilemma in the story — being transported against their will to 1930's North Texas. I made the music with Suno A.I. and it's a pretty fun little tune to listen to.
